“Anglo-Indians: Betwixt and Between” is a 28-minute documentary film.
The “Anglo-Indian” community is a unique but fading community and culture in India. At the time of India’s independence in 1947, half a million Anglo-Indians were in India. An estimated 500,000 Anglo-Indians worldwide, including Britain, Canada, Australia, and Pakistan. This documentary is about the creation of Anglo Indians and how and why their population has dipped to an estimated 150,000.
